The heavy equipment industry is a unique place to grow up—full of opportunities for many. However, for decades, there has been a gap in preparing leaders to grow into their roles and advance their companies within this field. I grew up surrounded by yellow iron and developed a strong passion for leadership development.
My first real experience with leadership training was in 2015, when I attended an AED management seminar led by Amy. Her insights and passion for both the equipment industry and leadership development were, in my opinion, absolutely spot on.
As I advanced into leadership positions, I consistently relied on the people-focused training I received from Amy. In late 2023, as I stepped into an executive role and recognized the need for widespread leadership development within our organization, Amy was the first person I thought of to help us create a program. With her and her team’s support, we launched an impactful initiative called Ignite. This program challenged, inspired, and transformed hundreds of employees at one of the most recognized dealerships in the country.
While Amy has developed a program that can benefit many organizations, it is her passion and personal touch that truly make a difference. She is trusted because she is both impactful and genuinely caring. Amy has made a lasting impression on everyone she works with, changing the face of leadership in our industry.
